At Whole School ÎÚÑ»ÊÓƵ we recognise that understanding the local context is crucial to improving national ÎÚÑ»ÊÓƵ provision. Each region has a Regional ÎÚÑ»ÊÓƵ team, formed from school-based ÎÚÑ»ÊÓƵ practitioners, to support prioritisation of ÎÚÑ»ÊÓƵ across the region. Regional pages will also bring together information and research about your region, ÎÚÑ»ÊÓƵ resources, and contact details for specialists and ÎÚÑ»ÊÓƵ organisations. Â

The Regional ÎÚÑ»ÊÓƵ Leadership team in the North West work to promote and celebrate the effective and exciting ÎÚÑ»ÊÓƵ practice across our region. The North West is a large geographic area with a huge amount of excellent practice and incredible SEN and ÎÚÑ»ÊÓƵ expertise already present and active within our schools and communities. Currently we are working to connect with and, where needed, develop professional networks to best support all schools in prioritising ÎÚÑ»ÊÓƵ within their practice.Â

In Yorkshire and The Humber ÎÚÑ»ÊÓƵ Leaders are currently working with LAs, Opportunity Areas, MATs, Dioceses and schools to develop solutions to enhance ÎÚÑ»ÊÓƵ related school improvement and workforce development.Â

From the densely populated major city of Birmingham, to the rural areas of Shropshire and Herefordshire, the West Midlands is a diverse region. Through our work so far, it is clear that there is a dedication to improve outcomes for learners with ÎÚÑ»ÊÓƵ across our region from families, schools, and professionals. We aim to build on existing effective practice for our population of pupils with ÎÚÑ»ÊÓƵ so that children experience success in their learning and parental confidence improves.

As a regional team, we work with school-based professionals, Local Authorities, Teaching School Hubs and Multi-Academy Trusts to support the prioritisation of ÎÚÑ»ÊÓƵ within professional development and school improvement plans. There is already a great deal of expertise in schools across the region; our goal is to unlock this expertise and share it for the benefit of children and young people, families and professionals. Through our monthly newsletters, we share best practice, including signposting members to CPD, sharing newly developed resources and highlighting regional ÎÚÑ»ÊÓƵ initiatives.

Our East Midlands ÎÚÑ»ÊÓƵ leaders are passionate about supporting all provision across the region to be ambitious, aspirational and inclusive by design. Our connectivity and partnerships with LA's, MATs, Opportunity Areas, Teaching School Hubs, mainstream and specialist settings support the sharing of knowledge and expertise across the system.

Whole School ÎÚÑ»ÊÓƵ's aim in the South West is to build our community of practice to meet the needs of children and young people with increasingly complex needs by strengthening the links between mainstream and specialist settings. We invite parents, carers, leaders and practitioners to contact us by becoming a member of Whole School ÎÚÑ»ÊÓƵ community and sharing good practice.

In the South East, we want to work in partnership with all stakeholders to ensure that ÎÚÑ»ÊÓƵ is seen as part of the wider school improvement agenda and not an add on.
